Investment Strategy
 Because LCP invests its own capital in every transaction, we carefully evaluate the risks and potential rewards of each investment we make. Our rigorous investment analysis process includes extensive due diligence, conducted by our affiliate Due Diligence Partners. As a stable long term player in our investments, we are influenced neither by periodic market irrationalities nor by variations in conventional wisdom about the relative attractiveness of sectors or asset classes. Instead, we seek to identify investments with sound fundamentals and the opportunity to create value over long periods of time. Often, we are attracted to out-of-favor or under-appreciated sectors, and welcome the role of contrarian in our deployment of capital. In addition, we are attracted to early stage investments involving developing industry that may not yet be widely appreciated.
We are active, involved investors who seek to be a constructive resource to our investment partners and portfolio companies. We have a strong track record of bringing our experience and resources to bear in generating above market returns. In most major investments, we have board level involvement. However, only in limited instances do we participate directly in the day-to-day management of the business. We are primarily investors, not operators, who leverage our resources and relationships to create long term value. |
